Regional Championships
The Swim England South East Region Swimming Championships are held twice a year. The Long Course championships in April/May and the Short Course 'Winter' championships in November.
To qualify to compete in the regional championships swimmers need to have achieved a qualifying time at a suitable licenced gala. Generally for the long course event any time achieved at Level 3/2/1 gala is suitable. For the short course winter championships a short course qualifying time at a level 2 or 3 gala is required and Long course conversions are not accepted, although this has changed due to covid so please check conditions on the event page.
Swimmers who are are at the level to compete in regional championships should consult the conditions for the events which are normally available a few month prior to the event and are updated regularly
