Last weekend Monson attended the first weekend of the South East Regional Championships for the 14/U age category in Crawley.
After the first weekend of competition Monson have come away with three medals and a South East Region Record!
The first medal came from Hannah Lambert who finished third in the 100m butterfly. Jemimah Berkeley and Anna Leman had a great in-house battle in the 50m breaststroke. Both swimmers came away with gold medals in their respective age groups, and are now ranked second and third in Britain.
Jemimah's 50m Breaststroke set an age group record, in a time 0f 33.36!
Emilia Vorster had the biggest time drop of the meet, dropping a whopping five seconds in the 200m butterfly.
Head Coach Simon said after the meet; "It was fun watching everyone race this weekend. In one of the toughest Regions in the country, Monson put on a good showing."
